Contrast Therapy & Sauna Session with Wild Wellness
Step away from the pace of everyday life and spend two hours beside the water in the quiet landscape of Coniston Water. These small-group contrast therapy sessions combine heat, cold, and breath work to reset your nervous system, recharge your mind and body, and bring calm and clarity. Each session is intentionally limited to just six participants to create a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Move gently from warmth on land into the water at your own pace, alternate between cold dips and sauna, or simply sit in the sauna and watch the changing landscape outside. These sessions are a deeper reset for those seeking to create a calm nervous system and learn how to regulate overstimulated minds and bodies. Breath work is incorporated as a technique to soothe, soften and return the body to safety. Designed to move from flight and fight into rest and digest, participants are left feeling lighter and with a renewed sense of purpose and energy. No prior experience is necessary and there is no expectation to do anything beyond your comfort level. Guidance is provided throughout, and all participants are encouraged to move at a pace that feels right for them. Water and warming tea are available during your session, and guests are encouraged to bring a reusable mug to support Wild Wellness’s low-impact approach. Safety & Wellbeing Your wellbeing and safety are at the heart of every Wild Wellness session. All participants must complete a health declaration before attending. Certain medical conditions may affect suitability for sauna use and cold-water immersion, so it is important that any relevant health information is disclosed in advance.
