For Guests

1. What is SwimNest?
SwimNest is a platform where you can book private pools, spas, saunas, and wellness spaces by the hour or day — no crowds, no memberships, just your time.

2. How do I book a space?
Simply browse available spaces, choose your time slot, and book directly through the platform. You’ll receive instant confirmation from the host.

3. What’s included in my booking?
Each listing includes different amenities — such as changing rooms, hot tubs, showers, or outdoor seating. Check the space description and photos before booking.

4. Can I bring guests with me?
Yes, most listings allow multiple guests. Check the listing’s guest limit before booking.

5. What if I need to cancel or change my booking?
Hosts choose one of four cancellation policies. You’ll see the selected policy on the listing before you book. If you need to cancel your booking, just email us at hello@swimnest.co.uk with your booking reference and the details of your request.

Cancellation policies (set by the host) determine whether you're eligible for a refund:

  • Easygoing – Cancel up to 24 hours before and receive a full refund
  • Balanced – Cancel 72+ hours in advance for a full refund, or between 24–72 hours for a 50% refund
  • Cautious – Cancel at least 72 hours in advance for a 50% refund
  • All Bookings FinalNo refund after booking

Booking amendment requests (e.g. date/time changes) are handled at the host's discretion and may not always be possible — especially close to the booking date.

If your host cancels at any time, you’ll always get a full refund.

6. Is it safe and clean?
Hosts are expected to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in line with SwimNest community guidelines. You can also check guest reviews and reach out to us if you have any concerns before booking.

For Hosts

1. Who can become a host?
If you have a private pool, spa, hot tub or sauna in a secure setting, you're eligible. You set your own rules, prices and availability.

2. How do I list my space?
Click “Share my space” and follow the steps — it only takes a few minutes to get started.

3. What does SwimNest charge?
A small commission is taken per booking to support the platform. You keep the majority of your earnings.

4. Am I covered by insurance?
SwimNest doesn’t provide insurance, but we strongly recommend all hosts hold public liability cover. If you’re not sure where to start, we can point you in the right direction — just get in touch and we’ll help you explore your options.

5. Do I have to be present during bookings?
That’s up to you. Some hosts greet guests, others offer self-access. Just clarify in your listing description.

For Practitioners

1. Who can create a listing on SwimNest?
If you're a qualified wellness, fitness, or aquatic professional offering services like swim instruction, breathwork, massage therapy, aquatic therapy, yoga, cold water immersion, or similar — you're welcome to list.

This includes:

  • Swim teachers (children or adults)
  • Aqua therapy providers
  • Mobile massage therapists
  • Yoga or breathwork instructors
  • Holistic and bodywork practitioners
  • Cold water / sauna experience leaders

2. What do I get with my membership?
Practitioners with an active membership can:

  • List their service publicly on SwimNest
  • Be contacted directly by potential clients or Hosts
  • Note if they’re looking for spaces to collaborate with
  • Receive priority for social media and marketing spotlights
  • Update listings anytime, including location, pricing, and delivery preferences

3. How much does it cost?
We currently offer an introductory price of £9/month.
There’s no commission on your bookings — you handle payment directly with your clients.

4. How do I take bookings or payments?
SwimNest is a discovery platform — clients contact you directly using your preferred method:
Instagram, email, website link, or other. You choose how you run your bookings and payments.

5. I don’t have a venue. Can I still list?
Yes! You can still attract private clients or collaborate with Hosts who have swim spas, pools, or wellness spaces. Just mark that you're looking for venues in your listing.

6. Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — you’re free to cancel your subscription anytime. Your listing will remain active until the end of your billing period.

7. How do I get started?
Once you’ve created a SwimNest account and purchased your membership, you’ll be guided to build your listing step-by-step. It only takes a few minutes.

General

1. How do payments work?
Guests pay securely at the time of booking using Stripe, our trusted payment partner. SwimNest holds the funds and releases payouts to hosts automatically after the session ends. Hosts will need to connect a Stripe account to receive payments.

If you’re hosting, you’ll need to connect a Stripe account — but don’t worry, we’ll guide you through the setup as part of the onboarding process. It only takes a few minutes.

2. What happens if someone breaks the rules?
SwimNest has community standards. Guests and hosts can report concerns, and repeat offenders may be removed.
