Summer Open Water Swim Programme · North Wales (May–Aug 26)
Build confidence, distance and technique in open water — over a summer of guided progression. This Summer Open Water Swim Programme is a five-session journey designed for regular dippers who are ready to move beyond short swims and into more confident, efficient open water swimming. Led by experienced open water swim coach Harriet Ballantyne and wild swim guide Sheena Corry, the programme blends technical coaching, breathwork, strength and endurance — all set within some of the most beautiful lakes and rivers in North Wales. Between swims, you’ll be supported with personalised feedback and practical tools to help you continue progressing independently, building both skill and confidence throughout the season.

Location
The Forge, Corwen · North Wales Swims take place at carefully selected lakes and rivers across North Wales, with the programme based at The Forge — including sauna and gathering space for the final session.

What to plan for yourself
Swimwear, a towel, warm layers for after swimming, and comfortable outdoor clothing. Wetsuits are optional — no specialist equipment is required.
