Shacks began with a simple idea: build places we’d want to escape to ourselves. Founded by lifelong builders Harry and George, we design and hand-build off-grid stays that balance comfort with low-impact living. From solar power to composting toilets, every detail is considered. Working closely with farmers across the UK, we create meaningful escapes that respect the land and invite guests to slow down, switch off and reconnect.
