Hello, I'm Fish 2 Water.

Dee is a lifelong water lover, former competitive pool swimmer, and open water coach with over 20 years’ experience. After earning a swimming scholarship in the USA and graduating with a BSc in Sports Science, she went on to work around the world as a PADI Scuba Diving Instructor, commercial diver and underwater photographer — including work on TV and film sets. Back in the UK, Dee qualified as a Swim England Level 2 teacher and STA Baby & Preschool instructor, later founding Fish 2 Water and running mermaid swimming sessions through her sister company, MerKids. She is also a Surf Lifeguard and Surf Lifesaving coach, and regularly competes in open water races, with numerous age-group wins and podium finishes. Alongside coaching private, group and adventure swims, Dee works seasonally as a SwimTrek guide in beautiful locations across Europe. When she’s not in the water, she’s with her three teenagers and her dog Ted — or heading off for a surf, cycle, or coffee with friends.
