Unity offers bespoke guided swimming, dipping and swim-walk experiences across Exmoor, West Somerset and North Devon. Each experience is planned around the group’s swimming confidence, interests, preferred level of challenge and the conditions at the chosen location. The experience might take the form of a gentle introduction to cold-water dipping, a privately guided river or coastal swim, a scenic swim-walk, or a longer half-day or full-day adventure. Unity can recommend a suitable format and location, or work with retreat hosts, accommodation providers and event organisers to incorporate swimming into an existing itinerary. Before confirming the experience, Unity will discuss the group’s requirements, including participant numbers, swimming ability, ages, access needs, desired outcomes and available time. She will then recommend an appropriate location, format and price. Every experience includes clear joining instructions, a comprehensive safety and equipment briefing, local guidance and support throughout. Locations may include secluded river pools, coastal swimming areas and privately accessed waterways where available and appropriate. Unity’s calm, adaptable approach makes these experiences suitable for friendship and family groups, swimming and outdoor clubs, retreat guests, private celebrations and organisations looking for a memorable nature-based activity. Experiences remain subject to Unity’s assessment of the group, location, weather, tides, river levels and water conditions. Where conditions are unsuitable, she may recommend an alternative location, format, time or date. What's Included

A pre-experience consultation to understand your group, swimming confidence, aims and practical requirements; creation of a tailored itinerary and selection of a suitable river or coastal location; clear joining instructions and a recommended kit list; safety and equipment briefing; professional guiding, facilitation and in-water support throughout the experience; and adaptation of the route or format around weather, tides, river levels and water conditions. Guests will normally bring their own swimwear, wetsuits where recommended, footwear, towels, warm clothing, food and drinks. Any private-access fees, extended travel, additional instructors, equipment hire, refreshments or other event-specific requirements will be agreed and included clearly within the final quotation.
