Usage Guidelines

Please bring swimwear, a refillable water bottle, suitable outdoor footwear and two towels: one to sit on inside the sauna and one for drying. Stay hydrated, take regular cooling breaks and leave the sauna or cold plunge immediately if you feel dizzy, faint or unwell. Enter the cold plunges gradually and do not jump or dive. Sauna stones, steam and any approved products must only be used in accordance with the provider’s instructions. Guests must not participate while under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs. Anyone who is pregnant or has a heart, circulatory, blood-pressure or other relevant medical condition should seek appropriate medical advice before participating. Children and young people require suitable adult supervision and must meet the provider’s participation requirements. All guests must attend the safety briefing and follow the Matchbox Sauna team’s instructions.

Service Area / Delivery Radius

Matchbox Sauna is based near Highampton in Devon and provides mobile hire across Devon, Cornwall and the wider South West. The team generally operates within approximately three hours of its Devon base, although opportunities further afield may be considered where the booking and logistics make this practical. Haulage is calculated according to the location, distance and access requirements, with the standard haulage charge capped at £200. Longer-distance, multi-day and more complex bookings are quoted individually.

Setup Requirements

The setup requires reasonably level ground, clear trailer access and sufficient room to manoeuvre and safely position the equipment. The sauna measures approximately 16ft long x 6.5ft wide x 9ft tall, with additional space required for two cold plunges and guest circulation. A good-pressure water supply is required within approximately 50 metres. Nearby power is preferable but may not always be essential. Matchbox normally arrives 2–2.5 hours before the experience to position the equipment, fill the plunges and heat the sauna. Please include photographs and access details with your enquiry.
